Kojima Productions has announced that it will provide help to Ukrainians who will take refuge in Japan: this is what the Death Stranding team said.
Video game developer Kojima Productions , best known for Death Stranding, announced today via Twitter that it will offer support to Ukrainian refugees seeking refuge in Japan.
Details of the type of support offered and the timing of such support were not disclosed . The tweet promises more information to be shared later and includes a link to the Japan Immigration Services Agency. The tweet also features an image of the studio’s mascot, an astronaut named CG, wearing a peace sign.
The war in Ukraine is tragic for many reasons. However, speaking specifically of the videogame field, it has also blocked or delayed the development of many games. Ukraine is a nation full of development teams, both independent and under large companies like Ubisoft. Many were forced to flee the war, but some developers took up arms and decided to defend their nation, as shown in a recent video created by the STALKER 2 team.
Kojima Productions now tries to lend its support and we cannot define this gesture in any other way than commendable.
