The first two divisions of the Spanish soccer league, officially known as LaLiga , will change their names for next season. This is the last year of the contract with their current sponsor, Banco Santander, so they have signed a new agreement with another company. The chosen one has been EA Sports, which from the 2023-24 season will be in charge of naming the competition .
This is reported by the journalist Pedro Morata in COPE , who assures that EA Sports FC ( the new name by which the FIFA saga will be known from next year) will be the brand responsible for choosing the nomenclature of the First and Second Division of The league. It still does not seem to have decided what the official name will be, although it has transpired that the agreement has cost EA Sports a total of 40 million euros a year , double what LaLiga has received so far for this sponsorship.
