We know that Wizards of the Coast has been preparing a high-budget game based on the “GI Joe” license since 2021 – a new studio was established a year ago to create such AAA production. Wizards of the Coast has also previously acquired such American development teams as Archetype Entertainment, Atomic Arcade and Tuque Games.
Wizards of the Coast has decided to launch another new game development team. Christian Dailey , who has been in the gaming industry for 20 years, previously working for EA and Blizzard Entertainment, was appointed head of the studio called Skeleton Key . Christian Dailey was recently employed at BioWare, where he worked on the next installments of the Dragon Age RPG series. Before deciding to leave BioWare, Dailey served as lead producer on Dragon Age 4.
The Skeleton Key team is headquartered in Austin, Texas. It is known that the newly created team is to focus on AAA titles. We are now waiting for the first details of the projects that Christian Dailey’s group will undertake.
