Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 continues to hit the market, but the head of Paradox Interactive makes no secret that the game may have been canceled. The creators have carefully checked whether it is worth saving a project that has long been faced with big problems.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was revealed in March 2019 and the production has faced big problems since then – more people left the game studio, so Paradox Interactive decided to change the team that is developing the production. At the beginning of the year it was confirmed that the title is still being developed , but since then we have been waiting for more specifics about the project.
Fredrik Wester (head of Paradox Interactive), during an interview with the editors of Nyhetsbyrån Direkt, mentioned that when Paradox took over the project from the previous developer, he took a very thorough check of the position – the company could cancel Bloodlines 2.
“When we lifted the game from the original developer, we had a long review in case we should end the game or run it further,” he said. “Then we were actually prepared to close the production completely. But we got a ‘pitch’ that we thought was convincing enough to run. played on and we have very good hopes that it will be a good game that meets the players’ expectations.”
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is being developed, but Paradox has not yet revealed what the studio has received into its hands. The CEO only mentioned that it is “a very reputable and talented developer . “
Currently, we also do not know the exact status of the project and it is difficult to say when we can count on the premiere.
