As part of the partnership, the company will first provide Boosteroid customers with access to its games, and after the completion of the deal with Activision Blizzard, to ActiBlizz games, including Call of Duty.
The fact that Microsoft and Boosteroid have entered into a 10-year cooperation agreement was announced by the American corporation on its website on March 14, 2023.
As part of the partnership, Microsoft will provide the Boosteroid cloud service with access to its PC games.
After the completion of the deal with Activision Blizzard, Boosteroid users will also be able to run ActiBlizz games, including those from the Call of Duty series, Microsoft emphasized.
Microsoft said that along with other similar deals from the company, more than 150 million new players will have access to games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda and Activision Blizzard. Previously, the corporation entered into similar agreements with Nintendo and NVIDIA .
In 2023, the number of users of the Boosteroid service exceeded four million people. The company has been providing services since 2017.
