There are not a few Star Wars games that are in development by various studios, one of them is Massive Entertainment, the same developers of The Division that are working on an open world title based on the franchise created by George Luke.
The game had been confirmed back in January 2021, exactly two years ago, but very little has transpired about it. According to the production director, Julian Gerighty, the game would be shown this year , or so suggests a tweet published by the creative himself with the Star Wars logo and the legend: “2023 is going to be huge for us. Join the adventure.”

Let’s keep in mind that we only know about the game that it will be an open world and little else. When it was announced two years ago, it was made clear that it was in a very early stage of development, although two years later, it is expected to be much more advanced . In fact, Massive Entertainment relatively recently was looking for players for the first playable tests of the title.
The developer studio is focused on what will be Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora that would arrive at some point in 2024, which suggests that the Star Wars title would only make its star appearance at some point in 2025, let’s hope that this year we will have a clearer framework on the future of the game.
