Will the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt be able to do better than Digital Dreams did with Reshade Ray Tracing and more than 100 mods?
Digital Dreams has released a video of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 8K , to show it with Reshade Ray Tracing applied and more than 100 mods, including BlitzFX qualities, a complete graphic overhaul that integrates the most modern rendering techniques in the game. Who knows the official next-gen version of CD Projekt Red will be able to do just as well. As you can see from the video, the result is truly impressive.

Going into detail, BlitzFX vastly improves shadow rendering, sunlight, liquid rendering, vegetation anti-aliasing and tonemapping. Note that it is not a reshade mod, but one that directly exploits DirectX.
In addition to BlitzFX, Digital Dreams used the Phoenix Lighting mod for the lights and its Beyond All Limits Reshade Ray Tracing mod for ray tracing. You can download BlitzFX from here , and Phoenix Lighting from here . For the full list of all mods used for the video, click here .
At this point it remains to be seen whether the remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will achieve a similar quality … hoping that it will be resumed shortly, after a delay of many months and radio silence from the developers.
