It’s been almost four months since Forza Horizon 5 received a Hot Wheels expansion focused on the eponymous brand of toy cars and tracks, but now the next big DLC for the race is on the way.
During the last episode of the Forza Monthly broadcast , Playground Games confirmed work on the second major expansion for Forza Horizon 5. No details were announced on the stream, but the developers specified that they would show it in early 2023 . The release should probably be expected around the same time.
Playground Games: “We’re hard at work on the second expansion of Forza Horizon 5. You can expect to see it in early 2023. We’ll have more to share after we enter the new year.”
Two weeks after launch, the Hot Wheels expansion has attracted more than 1 million users, which is about 20 times less than playing the original Forza Horizon 5. At the same time, unlike the base game, the add-on is not included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription and requires a separate purchase .
