Perhaps Halo Infinite ‘s post-launch support hasn’t been what the community expected; however, that’s not to say that 343 Industries isn’t working on exciting things. To prove this, the studio revealed that they are working on the return of one of the best and most popular Halo 3 maps .
During the HCS Orlando Major, 343 Industries decided to celebrate Halo 3 ‘s anniversary in an exciting way. This by revealing that The Pit, one of the most beloved maps by fans from the third installment of Halo , will return in Halo Infinite.
Of course the iconic multiplayer map will return in an epic and improved way. It turns out that 343 Industries isn’t just copy-pasting and making tweaks and improvements to make The Pit look modern and futuristic.
In this way, The Pit will cease to be a simple warehouse and will now be a kind of galactic base whose sky gives us a glimpse of the cosmos. It’s also now decked out in lots of purple neon lighting.

At the moment, 343 Industries hasn’t revealed when we can expect to see The Pit return. That said, it’s good news to know that the stage will be back. Especially when you consider that this is one of the most iconic small maps in all of Halo history.
