CI Games confirmed the very high interest in The Lords of the Fallen. A strong trailer published on the occasion of Opening Night Live made the game noticed by many players.
CI Games at gamescom revealed The Lords of the Fallen. This is not a specific continuation of a previously released game, but a full reboot that will offer a much larger world and a completely new story. The decision to present a position based on a previously released title may have seemed controversial, but the developers and publisher cannot complain.
The Lords of the Fallen recorded a much better result on Steam compared to Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 – in seven days 30% more players added the title to the wish list compared to the shooter the day before its premiere (after a 9-month promotional campaign).
Of course, this does not have to translate directly into sales, but it is a certain indicator of interest for the publisher and developers. It is definitely worth mentioning that Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 generated over $12 million in revenue in 2021.
The first trailer recorded over 6.7 million views, and already more than 300 texts about the game have been created around the world. Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games, mentions the strongest start in history:
“I am very happy with the strongest start of the advertising campaign in the history of CI Games, including the great reception of the Lords trailer. The game itself was very much appreciated by our current and potential partners who saw it at closed shows ”.
CI Games mentions that The Lords of the Fallen will debut in 2023, but we haven’t got a specific release date at the moment.
