New details on The Last of Us Part 1, which apparently will boast redesigned animations using the technology of The Last of Us Part 2.
The Last of Us Part 1 will boast redesigned animations using the technology of TLOU 2 : it was revealed by lead animator Michal Mach, who wanted to contribute with a post on Twitter to the enthusiasm deriving from the announcement of the gold phase.
As reported, new details on gameplay and graphics of The Last of Us Part 1 are coming , so the information shared by Mach is just a taste of what Sony and Naughty Dog will communicate shortly, perhaps with a trailer and a post on the PlayStation Blog.
In commenting on the message, a concept artist underlined the presence in the remake of motion matching , one of the flagships of The Last of Us Part 2 precisely as regards the animations, and of the global lighting in real time , which he will donate to characters look completely different, improving their integration with the scenarios.
Mach was not the only Naughty Dog to express himself in the last few hours: a little while ago we read the statements of the principal environment artist Anthony Vaccaro, who said that The Last of Us Part 1 did not require crunch , while before that there is was the defense of cinematic animator Robert Morrison that The Last of Us Part 1 is not a money-sucking game.
We will obviously be able to judge the quality and legitimacy of the work done when the remake makes its debut on PlayStation 5 , next September 2nd.
