A few months after the official announcement of the multiplayer project linked to The Last of Us, Naughty Dog has no longer released information on the highly anticipated game. To rekindle the hopes for a presentation of the product was Neil Druckmann with a tweet appeared on his personal profile.
The famous developer, also present as an NPC in the new Return to Monkey Island, has in fact decided to publish a message on Twitter in which he reminds all his followers that only one day is missing from The Last of Us Day , the day in which the series and announcements are made, whether they are related to merchandising, to projects such as the TV series (almost certainly present at the event) or other. Jokingly, Druckmann teases fans who are trying to figure out what announcements will be made at the celebration. Such a message immediately attracted the attention of fans, who seem to be convinced that it is a way to announce the presence of The Last of Us Multiplayer at TLOU Day.
Of course these are just guesses and there is no certainty that the game is part of the event. It is not excluded that Naughty Dog can limit itself to showing some images or revealing some small details and then showing the game in motion on a more important stage like the State of Play.
Waiting to find out more in the coming hours (TLOU Day will be September 26, 2022 , or tomorrow), we remind you that The Last of Us Multiplayer should be set in a huge city.
