Publisher Curve Games has announced that The Ascent has sold more than a million copies across all platforms.
Curve Games has announced that The Ascent, the debut title from Swedish indie studio Neon Giant, has sold 1 million copies worldwide, across all platforms it was released on. So PC, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PS4 and PS5.
For those unfamiliar with it, it is an action shooter that can be played alone or in co-op, set in a well-kept sci-fi world. Neon Giant is made up of industry veterans who have worked on series such as Gears of War, Bulletstorm and Wolfenstein. Arcade Berg, the creative director and founder of the studio, wanted to thank everyone who bought the game, as well as John Clark, the CEO of Curve Games.
We understand that speaking of copies sold, the official press release does not also include all those who have played The Ascent through Xbox Game Pass, given that the game was immediately launched in Microsoft’s subscription service.
