Silent Hill 2 Remake
The presentation has begun with the most important, the remake of Silent Hill 2 , which is considered one of the best survival horror in history, and for many the best. The game is being developed by Bloober Team, the creators of Layers of Fears and The Medium, and is coming to PS5 and PC.
This remake will bet on an over-the-shoulder camera similar to the one in Resident Evil 2 Remake , and will be visually very ambitious, using Unreal Engine 5 . Masahiro Ito , the legendary art director of the series, will return in the remake to design the creatures, while Akira Yamaoka , the original composer, will also participate in the project.
Silent Hill Townfall
Another of the games announced was Silent Hill Townfall , a narrative adventure developed by the Scottish studio No Code , creators of Stories Untold (2017) and Observation (2019), and to be published by Annapurna Interactive . At the moment not many details have been given, beyond that they want to respect the spirit of the saga but also offer something new and original . No platforms have been confirmed either.
Silent Hill F
The broadcast has closed with the announcement of one last game, Silent Hill F, developed by the Taiwanese studio Neobards Entertainment , the team behind the development of Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer included with Resident Evil 8: Village. Few details have been revealed other than that the story will be written by Ryukishi07, a popular Japanese novelist famous for his visual novels dealing with murder mysteries and psychological and supernatural horror. It will be a completely new story set in 1960s Japan.
Return to Silent Hill, a new movie
