A source close to the development of the Bethesda space RPG points out that the title has suffered a small delay and that it would finally arrive before September of this year.
Starfield , Bethesda’s open-world space RPG, is scheduled for release in the first half of 2023, and those who have already experienced it firsthand say it “exceeds all expectations .” It is clear that of the entire launch line that Xbox is preparing for this year, Starfield is undoubtedly one of its strongest bets, although apparently it would finally be released a little later than expected.

As stated by the youtuber MrMattyPlays in an intervention during the last episode of the Defining Duke podcast , a “quite reliable” source has revealed that Starfield would have been delayed again. Of course, the delay would not be too significant since, as the source has indicated, the launch of the title is still scheduled for the first half of the year, although it would arrive in the summer . In this way, if the information from the source is real, the game should arrive before September in case, of course, it is not delayed again.
Xbox and Bethesda announced just a week ago that they are preparing a special and independent Starfield event , so sooner rather than later we would receive new information about its final release date.
