Released in August 2022, the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered proved to be a smash hit for Sony , with impressive numbers in terms of sales and doing even better than another blockbuster like God of War.
It is no coincidence that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PC marked a record launch in the UK , and now, according to Sony itself in its latest financial report, it emerges as the adventure of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man made by Insomniac Games (and converted by Nixxes Software ) is confirmed as the fastest-selling Sony game ever on PC , surpassing the results of all other productions published so far.
“These titles have been rated highly with Metacritic Metascores of 87 and 88 respectively, and, in the two months since release, sales of Marvelʼs Spider-Man approached the highest level ever for a PC software title released by Sony“
During its FY22 Q2 financial call
Sony does not reveal exactly how much this version has sold, however Steamspy suggests that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has placed at least a million units on PC, and it is not at all excluded that the numbers are actually even more consistent. There is therefore great curiosity to find out what impact the expansion of the game starring Miles Morales will also have , increasingly closer to its publication in a version for mouse and keyboard.
In fact, remember that Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales for PC will be available from November 18, 2022 : given the popularity of the series and the Marvel character , it cannot be excluded that it may prove to be another success for Sony.
