On Wednesday, Konami finally lifted the veil on its future plans for the Silent Hill franchise by announcing a slew of new projects, including the Silent Hill 2 remake, the Silent Hill: Ascension interactive series, and two brand new Silent Hill games: Townfall and Silent Hill. f.
However, it is strange that the project, which has been heard about the most in recent months, was not presented at the presentation.
We are talking about a game codenamed Sakura, which recently received an age rating as Silent Hill: The Short Message . Some confusion has arisen because of this, as some have suggested that Silent Hill f and Sakura are the same project, as they both have a similar visual style.
According to insider Dusk Golem, Silent Hill f is not Sakura/She Short Message, although they are somewhat related .
He did not elaborate on what exactly he was talking about. Perhaps Sakura / The Short Message will be a kind of teaser for Silent Hill f, but so far this is just guesswork.
Silent Hill f will tell a brand new story set in 1960s Japan. It is being developed by Asian studio NeoBards , known mainly for porting and creating the latest multiplayer games in the Resident Evil series , including Resistance and Re:Verse .
Silent Hill f has not yet been announced on platforms and release dates.
