Silent Hill 2 Remake continues to be discussed, with further information that would have emerged from an alleged internal slide in truth very dubious.
More details emerge on Silent Hill 2 Remake , or at least what could be the remake of the second chapter of the Konami series, after what came out yesterday among the rumors, with information on the exclusive PlayStation and other features planned for the game.
Yesterday we saw the first alleged images of Silent Hill 2 Remake in development at Bloober Team, although the game has never been confirmed, while the new details emerge from a dubious slide that has been added to the various information leaked, visible at this address.
While the images appear to be authentic, as confirmed by various insiders including Dusk Golem, although referring to a project still in the preliminary phase and of which we do not know what the fate was, the new “slide” raises more than one doubt, but it’s interesting because it features information on the PlayStation exclusive and some changes made to the original.
We read that Silent Hill 2 Remake should be console exclusive for a year on PS4 and PS5 , therefore a temporal exclusive only for the other consoles, since it would also be expected on PC at launch anyway. The slide also reports that the remake of Silent Hill 2 is just one of three projects planned by Konami for the relaunch of the series, which also include a new real chapter, namely a “Silent Hill 5” and various collaborations with indie teams. for smaller projects, called “Silent Hill Short Stories”.
As for the characteristics of Silent Hill 2 Remake, the slide shows a general reworking of artificial intelligence and animations, as well as new puzzles redesigned to be better inserted into the narrative structure of the game and two new unpublished endings.
