110 Industries may be gearing up for the release of Shenmue 4. The publisher was to work with Yu Suzuki to create a new production from the acclaimed series. Currently, these are only speculations, but the information presented sounds interesting.
The first rumors of Shenmue 4 appeared at the end of 2019 , and Lakshya Digital later confirmed that it is ready to work on the game . Yu Suzuki mentioned possible plans for a sequel in 2020 , but the Japanese still haven’t disclosed the project.
The game is booming again with Game Rant’s editorial hint that Yu Suzuki has teamed up with 110 Industries (publisher Vengeance is Mine and Wanted: Dead) to develop Shenmue 4.
Journalists base their assumptions on the events of the Tokyo Game Show – 110 Industries ran their panels during the event and Yu Suzuki appeared on one of them. The creator has so far had nothing to do with the publisher.
One player asked the company directly – is Yu Suzuki’s potential collaboration with 110 Industries related to Shenmue 4? The publisher replied with the following words: “Guess why he was on our stream with TGS . “
When Game Rant described the whole situation, 110 Industries decided not to bury their head in the sand, but dropped the meaningful “no comment” for many.
We have to wait for a specific announcement, but there are many indications that fans of the Shenmue series will be able to read one more story.
