After releasing a new short clip from the Sci-Fi horror work coming to PC and Xbox, the developers of Ebb Software have confirmed that Scorn will be distributed exclusively in digital version.
As you can see by taking a look at the twitter reported at the bottom, a fan asked the authors of the game directly if there was a version in retail format, but Ebb Software was quick to extinguish his hopes. Although there are no concrete plans at the moment, the studio reserves the right to change its mind and possibly announce news in the future.
“The game will be released as digital-only on Xbox X|S and Steam (PC). While we’re exploring options (such as the vinyl mentioned in our January update), we won’t have more news until much closer to launch” , the statements of the developers. We know that Scorn is expected in October on both consoles and PCs (free with Xbox Game Pass), and it is therefore possible that – if it is ever made – we will hear about a physical edition around this time.
Ebb Software recently released a new gameplay video from Scorn , which highlighted the splatter side of next-gen horror.
