CD Projekt is another Polish studio that does not intend to only look at events from beyond our eastern border. The creators of games from the universe of The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 decided to donate PLN 1 million for a fundraiser for the Polish Humanitarian Action.
Yesterday , 11 bit studios started a great campaign to help the Ukrainian community, and today CD Projekt confirmed the donation of a large donation to the collection of the Polish Humanitarian Action. The creators of The Witcher’s game adventures issued a short statement:
The recent invasion on Ukraine, our friends and neighbours, left us shocked and outraged.
In solidarity with all victims of this act of aggression, the CD PROJEKT Group has decided to support humanitarian aid efforts by donating 1 million PLN to the @PAH_org
We cannot remain indifferent in the face of such injustice and we ask everybody to join in and help in any way you can. Together we can make a huge difference!
Yesterday, Ukrainian studios asked for help in every possible way – the statement was issued, among others, by the founders of STALKER , who admit that the situation is very difficult. As you can see, the gaming industry tries to help in various ways.
Meanwhile, 4A Games released a statement. Part of the studio has been working in Malta for several years , but some developers continued to develop games in Ukraine.
