Respawn has opened several vacancies for lead developers – they are looking for specialists for the Star Wars shooter.
Respawn has opened up several positions at once for leading positions for its Star Wars shooter, the development of which was announced back in January. The studio is also producing a strategy universe and is working on a direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The studio is looking for an art director, lead character artist, environment artist, technical artist, technical animator and animator for NPCs and opponents.
The job description does not mention the details of the game, but the recruitment of lead developers means that the game will not be released anytime soon.
Several jobs, including a technical artist, mention the required experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5. It is likely that Epic Games technology is used for development.
The designer of the Star Wars shooter is Chad Armstrong, who previously worked on the multiplayer Apex Legends.
In addition to Star Wars games, Respawn is also making a solo shooter in the Apex Legends universe.
