Hungarian neuroscientist named Viktor Tóth has spent a long time teaching three rats to play Doom II, and don’t ask me how, but the guy did it . Now is when things get interesting.
Tóth believes that it is time to get economic performance out of his project (more than anything to recover everything he invested), so his intention now is none other than to start broadcasting games of this video game on Twitch , in which he shows how their rats can play better than some of the ones you are reading me right now. The problem is in the physical resistance of the rodents, because at the moment they last about 15 minutes killing demons in Doom II .

How the hell did he get three rats to play Doom?
- This neuroscientist built a VR device for rats in order to teach them to move through 3D environments without the need for surgical interventions or restricting their mobility too much😮
- Since by nature this type of rodents flee from danger, Tóth believes that in the future he will be able to teach them to better play other types of games such as Pac-Man 3D , although he knows that the challenge will be much greater
- These kinds of experiments could bring advances (although I don’t know what kind) to the field of neuroscience
- In the video above you can see the rats “in action”. Will we see them soon on Twitch trends?
Believe it or not, those three rats have already played more Doom video games than I have . I hope that very soon I will be able to experience all that brutality and frenzy of the id Software saga first hand, since I really want to pass Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal.
