We have been waiting for a new presentation of Pragma for months, but Capcom decided to calm down players waiting for a new IP. The production is still in progress, but at least at the moment the Japanese giant does not intend to launch the game on the market. The company will not provide any new titles in the coming months.
Pragmata was first presented in 2020 , but since then Capcom has started promoting the next games from the Resident Evil and Monster Hunter series. However, the creators confirm that the production is still in progress, but we still have to wait for the title.
Yoichi Egawa, Executive Director of Capcom’s Development Divisions, confirmed during a meeting with investors that Pragmata is ” recording steady progress in development”, but apparently it is still too early to start a specific promotion of the position.
It is very possible that the next show of the title will take place only at the next Sony event – as you know, the Japanese were the first to show Pragma and, apparently, it is the PlayStation producer who will be promoting the game.
At the same time, we can confirm that Capcom will not release any new games on the market in the near future. As you know, Monster Hunter Rise will debut on PC in early 2021 , but the corporation has confirmed that it does not intend to offer new titles until March 31, 2022.
At the same time, Capcom is to work on “creating new IPs” and projects are helped by a “pool of talents” that have been recruited thanks to recent recruitments.
