Persona 4 Arena Ultimax with an RPG inspired mode. Atlus reveals details about the remaster

Atlus today revealed new information on the upcoming Persona 4 Arena Ultimax remaster.

The Japanese company revealed first of all that in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax we will go crazy in a new module, called “Golden Arena Mode”. The mode will introduce RPG themes to the brawl.

In Golden Arena Mode, which was previously available only in the Japanese release, we gain experience points after battles conducted in a survival style, thanks to which the characters climb to the next levels. Here, the player decides how to allocate these points, unlocking almost 200 different abilities for players.

Atlus also confirmed that in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax we will receive such modes as Arcade Mode (in other words – “Story Mody”), Score Mode, Network Mode (online gameplay), Versus Mode, Training Mode, Challenge Mode and Lesson Mode (tutorials ). We will also have a gallery where we will unlock graphics with characters from Persona 4.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be available on PS4, Switch and PC on March 17, 2022. The game options will include Japanese or English voices of the players.
