Ewan McGregor hints in an interview that the plot of the production that will be broadcast on Disney + at the end of May will link to a video game in the saga.
Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi , the miniseries dedicated to the mythical Jedi that will premiere on May 27 on Disney+ , could be related to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 , as actor Ewan McGregor has hinted. Or maybe other upcoming games in the saga, or one of those already published, but everything points to the action adventure starring Cal Kestis.
McGregor, who has returned to the Lucasfilm saga to put himself back in the shoes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, has given an interview on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. There he praised the director Deborah Chow for her extensive knowledge of the Star Wars canon , something that according to the actor is very important because “all of the storylines have to … match up” , since “you can’t have some fact in a video game that doesn’t match up to the movie.”
The reason why media such as VGC and IGN have interpreted these words as a relationship between the series and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is because both productions take place in the same period and share enemies, the Inquisitors , the group of villains that Darth Vader sends far and wide across the galaxy to hunt down the remaining Jedi.
Jedi Fallen Order 2 and the other Star Wars games coming
Lucasfilm Games and Electronic Arts announced three games in the saga created by George Lucas in January. As well as the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order , developed by Respawn Entertainment, and a first- person shooter created by the same studio.
