Wizards of the Coast confirms that a new AAA project focused on Dungeons & Dragons is in development at the studios of Invoke Games , a company formerly known as Tuque Games as well as the author of Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance , a hack & slash action / RPG published in 2021 on PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles .

At the moment there is very little information on the new mysterious project: it is known for sure that the game will be developed in Unreal Engine 5 and that it will be ” an AAA game focused on the universe of Dungeon & Dragons “. In addition, Invoke Games is preparing to expand considerably over the next few years, going from the current team of 80 people to over 200 by 2025. Given the development team involved, it is reasonable to think that the project in the pipeline could be a possible Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance 2 , but for the moment it is a very simple hypothesis .
However, no details on a possible launch window for the work and on which platforms it will see the light, presumably PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. For now the only certainty is that a new D&D game exists and is in the pipeline, but for more detailed details we will have to wait for more clarifications in the future.
