Ninja Theory has completed motion capture for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.
Ninja Theory has reached an important point in the development of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. This is how the developer finished the motion capture recordings for the game with the team.
In motion capturing, the movements of the body are recorded using a suit fitted with sensors. Gestures and facial expressions of the face are also recorded in order to be able to capture emotions in particular. All the information is then used to animate characters. In the case of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, the living characters and their emotions play a particularly important role in conveying the story.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II was announced at the Game Awards in December 2019. Since then, Ninja Theory has repeatedly reported on the development work.
