The announcement could be just around the corner
Fans are waiting for a new Nintendo Direct and, if rumors are to be believed , that event could be very soon. Apparently, in that event we will have several news and many of them could be related to remasters and re-releases of Zelda and Metriod.
Recently, GamesBeat editor Mike Minotti and Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb spoke on The Last of the Nintendogs about the upcoming Nintendo Direct. There they not only pointed out that the event could be held the week of September 12.
Grubb noted that he has heard the announcement of the supposed remaster of Metroid Prime could be announced in the next Nintendo Direct. So, it could be a Nintendo Direct that nostalgic fans will love, especially those who grew up with a Nintendo GameCube.
Keep in mind that none of this is confirmed. Thus, you should take this information with a grain of salt. We’ll keep an eye out and let you know when we learn more about these alleged ports and remasters.
