Metal Gear Solid could be the focus of news and announcements coming these weeks, according to Raiden’s voice actor.
It looks like there’s really something coming regarding Metal Gear Solid or the Metal Gear series in general, whether it’s the rumored Remake or something else, as Raiden’s voice actor has also confirmed that there are announcements and news planned for the next few weeks .
Quinton Flynn is the actor and voice actor in question, who gave the voice to Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, who replied on Twitter to those who asked for information on news regarding the series that something will be announced in the coming weeks, apparently, without going into detail.
The question specifically concerned Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance , considering that February 2023 corresponds to the 10th anniversary of the game: “Maybe there could be a Metal Gear Rising 2 inside a Metal Gear Showcase?” the user asked on Twitter, to which Flynn replied “Stayed tuned for things to be announced in the coming weeks.”
Considering the rumors that are already circulating about the Metal Gear Solid series, such a statement obviously cannot go unnoticed: Flynn is an element of some relevance in the series, having played what has become one of the main characters, therefore it is possible who has information on upcoming news on the video game series.
Obviously it could be anything but, but there are now many rumors concerning a possible return of Metal Gear Solid, perhaps with a Remake , and after seeing the return to the scenes of Silent Hill we cannot exclude that Konami intends to make a same thing for this other series too.
