According to rumors circulating online, Konami could announce the remastered editions of the first three Metal Gear Solids at TGS 2022.
Konami may announce the remastered editions of the first three Metal Gear Solids at TGS 2022 . The news was initially reported by the VGC newspaper, only to be confirmed by the insider Dusk Golem, who defined it 100% accurate.
Presenting its lineup for the Japanese event, Konami had talked about the return of a much loved series , which according to new rumors could be that of Metal Gear.
VGC actually only mentioned the series, while Dusk Golem went into more detail, talking about remastered editions and not remakes. The information would have been given to him by a source he believes to be 100% reliable and also includes launch projects:
“The plan is to release the three remasters seperately, but also together as a collection (where also get the MSX versions of Metal Gear 1+2 if buy together)” In a later post, the insider also talked about the platforms on which we can play it, mentioning the PC and consoles. He also explained that these are new remasters, more advanced than those already seen in the past and designed to run at higher resolutions.
Of course it is fair to point out that these are only rumors. To find out more, all that remains is to wait for Konami’s event at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, set for September 16.
