New alleged details of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games have surfaced online . The information should be treated solely as a rumor, since it was first published on 4Chan – the user introduced himself as a tester.
- The Playmaster mentions the villain “in a green ski mask”. This is supposed to be the Sin Eater that appeared in the 80s comics and is an important part of the story of Peter Parker wearing the symbiote suit. Moreover, it is he who is at the origin of Eddie Brock’s hatred towards Spider-Man;
- The storyline about Venom has elements from the original comics about the villain, which, according to the tester, has never been on the screen before;
- Spider-Man 2 is much darker compared to the first part;
- A level is mentioned with a woman in leather overalls and the bleeding corpse of a thug girl. The tester thinks this is meant for DLC.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for release in Fall 2023 on the PlayStation 5 . A full presentation should probably be expected at the PlayStation Showcase, which is rumored to take place before E3 2023.
