Wolfenstein 3D was not available in Germany for 30 years. Now the legendary shooter has finally got an age rating.
The German organization USK issued an age rating for Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny . The game was rated 16+, and its prequel was rated 18+. For the first time since 1994, the shooter and expansion went on sale in Germany without any censorship .
According to local Steam users, shooters have become available for purchase at a price of 4.99 euros. The game and prequel are also available for purchase in Germany on GOG and the Microsoft Store. Recall that in 1994, Wolfenstein 3D was banned from distribution in the country due to Nazi symbols.
Prior to this, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot and Youngblood were the first games in the franchise to be released uncensored in Germany.
