Elden Ring is one of the biggest hits of 2022 with over 17 million copies sold, with these numbers it is natural to think that FromSoftware and Bandai Namco are working on new content for the game, and confirmation to this effect comes from the always well-informed Lance McDonald .

The famous programmer, modder and YouTuber went unbalanced in a conversation on Discord, announcing the arrival of a substantial Elden Ring DLC, it would not be an update like the Arena mode which made its debut in recent weeks, but rather a real expansion with content related to the story .
It is not entirely clear what exactly the contents of the DLC will be , McDonald makes it known that he is not aware of too many details but anticipates the presence of new territories to explore, will there therefore be a new map or an unexplored territory in addition to the already known locations? It’s early to tell, and we’ll probably know more during the year.
