In the opinion of the audience of the Japan Game Awards ceremony, the Elden Ring is a game “on a divine level”
Elden Ring as a production received the Grand Award from the Japan Computer Entertainment Providers Association . This is the first From Software game to win this unique award. In the justification, the jury stated that the Elden Ring is a title with “a unique character, which is also very fun to play.” The community, which also contributed in part to the end result, was more blunt, claiming that it was production on a “divine level.”
In addition, the game director – Hidetaka Miyazaki – was named the winner of the Award of the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry . This, in turn, is awarded to a person or organization that has made a significant contribution to the development of the Japanese game industry.
