According to a Rockstar Games insider, the development of Grand Theft Auto VI is taking place in RAGE9, a new version of the company’s engine thanks to which ‘incredible’ graphics will be achieved.
Since Rockstar Games officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI (or whatever the next installment in the saga is called ) is in development , we have had no new information about this long-awaited video game. Everything that has been said since then belongs to the realm of rumors and leaks from insiders who claim to have privileged access to details of the production process. One of them is Chris Klippel, a journalist and founder of Rockstar Mag , who recently assured that the development of the game would be accelerating in order to be shown in 2022 .
Now this same insider claims to have information related to the graphics engine in which Grand Theft Auto VI is being developed , which is Rage 9, will likely be quite incredible.
Klippel describes the graphical output the engine is producing as “quite incredible” and describes the engine as “ahead of its time.” Adding to this, Klippel makes a bold claim, which is that Rockstar Games is aiming to outperform Unreal Engine 5, the new next-gen version of Unreal Engine.
Of course, the new version of the #RockstarGames graphics engine (RAGE9) that will be used in # GTA6 will probably be amazing. I’ve been able to get some positive information and we really shouldn’t be disappointed. We are talking about an engine that will be ahead of its time.
