Sony is heating up the atmosphere before the premiere of another highly anticipated title developed by the PlayStation Studios team. Polyphony Digital has been developing Gran Turismo 7 for years, despite the rumors that the premiere of the game seems to be unchallenged – at the beginning of March, players will get into beautiful and fast cars and take part in races.
Another State of Play is behind us. Before the online event, Roger had the opportunity to appear at the long Gran Turismo 7 presentation, thanks to which he was able to share his first impressions of the production. Fans are already preparing the pads for the new installment of the climatic and cult series, meanwhile we got to know a new batch of details about the game.
Polyphony Digital has not changed the initial assumptions and as previously reported – Gran Turismo 7 requires a permanent connection to PlayStation Network servers. Pushsquare asked about the reason for Kazunori Yamauchi’s decision, who said the main goal was to block the possibility of cheating. Players will have to stay connected to the Internet to use the most important modes and continue their career development.
The developers have not yet announced which gameplay variants will be available offline, although keeping in mind the solutions used in Gran Turismo Sport, we can suspect that only the arcade mode will not force us to connect.
During discussions with journalists, the head of Polyphony Digital also confirmed that the new version on each route will be characterized by “dynamic clouds”, but only a few locations will receive extensive weather conditions and we will experience rainfall while driving.
