Polyphony Digital has been working intensively for several hours to fix the operation of Gran Turismo 7. The developers have shut down the servers, as a result of which IP fans have lost access to a significant part of the title. The update was met with unfavorable reception from users, and the criticism was aggravated by the emerging problems.
Even before the premiere of the latest installment of the treasured racing under the Gran Turismo banner, some of the community turned their noses at the news that most of the content was blocked behind the servers. We did not have to wait long for real problems to occur, because almost the entire content of the production has not been checked for several hours .
Since yesterday, we have not been able to learn about campaigns, buy new cars, improve machines or participate in challenges. All major modes are unavailable.
Developers apologized and announced work on the update, but players do not hide their frustration. With a decision made a few months ago regarding the requirement for permanent access to PlayStation infrastructure, the experience is completely distorted.
