One of Sony Santa Monica’s goals for God of War: Ragnarok was to have better side missions than The Witcher 3’s.
God of War: Ragnarok has not been officially released yet, but the specialized media have already been able to play it before its arrival on PS5 and PS4 on November 9. That is why the network has been filled with opinions about the new Santa Monica Studio game that elevate it to one of the best installments of the saga . Among the aspects that stand out the most is the secondary content , which many people say is on par with the acclaimed The Witcher 3 .
Comparisons with the CD Projekt RED game are not far off the mark, as Anthony DiMento, developer at Santa Monica Studio , has confirmed that the studio had Geralt of Rivia’s latest adventure as their goal: “This was the goal I set for the optional content in God of War Ragnarok. The Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games of all time… It didn’t seem possible, but this was literally the goal.”
Park’s words were also commented by Luis Sanchez, the Lead Level Designer of God Of War Ragnarok, who added: “As the Level Lead on the exploration content the recognition means so much. We pour everything into every inch of this game. The team doesn’t treat it as just side content, everything is crafted to enhance the world and player experience. So proud of what we accomplished.”
For the rest we remind you that God of War: Ragnarok will be available for PS4 and PS5 starting from November 9, 2022.
