There are more specifics about God of War on PC. The studio is responsible for the production, which was previously associated with the development of God of War Ragnarok for personal computers. Work on the two ports could start at a similar time.
Cory Barlog did not want to confirm the existence of God of War Ragnarok for PC today , but in a recent interview one of the developers responsible for the God of War port for personal computers revealed an important detail – work on porting the game began about 2 years ago.
Matt DeWald (Senior Technical Production Manager at Santa Monica Studio), talking to Game Informer, mentioned that for him it was natural to play God of War on a mouse and keyboard because he had been working on the production “for two years”.
This news is relevant when we check the latest Digital Foundry text, in which journalists from the UK received news about the creators of God of War on PC – the title was created by Sony Santa Monica, which “has partnered with its partner studio Jetpack.”
It was an employee of Jetpack Interactive who informed last year that he has been working on God of War Ragnarok for 2 years and 2 months – rumors appeared in October that this studio is to work on a PC game port, but so far we have not been able to officially connect the developers with this title.

This is not yet confirmed news, but maybe Jetpack Interactive was actually tasked with developing two ports and the work started at a similar time? Given the great interest in God of War on Steam, no one will be particularly surprised by this.
