Santa Monica Studio is working intensively on the next adventure of the god of war, while the fans of Kratos do not forget about his earlier stories. God of War from 2018 has its PS1 demake – check out the material.
Many players have fond memories of the older consoles that they started their adventure with video games with. Currently, nostalgia is fueled by new demakes, i.e. proposals whose graphics are deliberately antiqued and resemble items from the times of the first PlayStation or PlayStation 2. At the beginning of 2022, players will be able to see the quality of a similarly prepared Bloodborne, we recently mentioned on the portal also about two versions of Resident Evil. It’s time for the story of the god of war …
God of War PS1 Demake was developed by 64 Bits, a team that publishes various animations and other video game-inspired content on their YouTube channel. The latest movie with intentionally distressed graphics was based on Breath of Fire 4 and shows the adventure of Kratos in the form of a turn-based RPG – although we won’t play the position, we can see the start screen, loading screen and scenes presenting fragments of the game. A numbered health bar and hit points have also been added when the fight starts. The whole is enriched with classic sounds from PlayStation.
“It’s 1998 and you are playing God Of War (2018) on your PS1. Only 20 years too soon.
The effects of the work of 64 Bits were noticed by Cory Barlog. The director of God of War praised the creators and appreciated the atmospheric presentation of the production. Admittedly, the design looks great. Fans plan to present a total of 7 games in a retro version – we are already waiting for the next titles!
