Disney Interactive and Empty Clip Studios have announced a remastering of the 90s action-platformer adventure based on Gargoyles; It will have improved graphics and controls.
Gargoyles Remastered will bring Gargoyles , the 1995 Mega Drive action-adventure platformer, back to today’s PCs and consoles. The title has been announced at the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase broadcast on Friday night. The adaptation runs at the hands of Empty Clip Studios , who will update the graphics and controls . There is no release date, images or videos; just a logo.

The video game, based on the cult animated series Gargoyles, mythological heroes broadcast between 1994 and 1997, follows the plot of the original work quite freely. Players control Goliath, who wants to destroy the Eye of Odin , a talisman that possesses the wearer of it.
The plot premise translates into a two-dimensional platform where the winged protagonist will have to climb, fly and hit over five levels (from the rooftops of Manhattan to the city’s subway), defeating Vikings, unpublished robots along the way and the final bosses that crown each phase.
Empty Clip Studios, who are handling the remastering, are responsible for Streets of Kamurocho , the me versus the neighborhood based on the Yakuza series ; collaborated on its creation with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Among his original works are the virtual reality game Attack of the Bugs ,, Dead Island: Retro Avengers and Symphony.
