Yesterday , Microsoft unveiled the first gameplay from Forza Motorsport , which debuted in spring 2023, which in many respects is to raise the bar and offer a new experience. Currently, we can take a look at the first material that compares the game with Forza Motorsport 7
At the beginning of 2023, the new production of Turn 10 Studios will premiere. Forza Motorsport uses the latest engine from Microsoft to increase the visual experience, while thanks to 3D photogrammetry, the developers have refined all the tracks and will offer a 48-fold improvement in driving physics simulation. Races will feature full ray tracing while driving.
During the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase we could see “The next generation Forza Motorsport, which will allow you to immerse yourself in a racing spectacle like never before.” As stated by the developers, the Turn 10 Studios team focused on developing the most technologically advanced item in the genre ever created – therefore the production will feature extremely detailed tracks, a dynamic time-of-day system, changing weather, accurate and renewed physics.
“The accuracy of our revamped physics, the beauty of our cars and tracks, a dynamic new time of day, advanced car damage and real-time ray tracing on the track are leading to the leap forward for an entire generation in immersion. This is the brand new Forza Motorsport. ”- Chris Esaki, Creative Director of Forza Motorsport, Turn 10 Studios.
Forza Motorsport was created from scratch with the Xbox Series X | S in mind. Completely rebuilt new driving experience and the introduction of new functions (such as tire and fuel management, the possibility of a thorough rebuild of cars) will allow us to count on new experiences not only during the competition, but also when stopping in the pit stops.
The Xbox studio paid special attention to the damage to the cars, which gained new details – from single scratches on the car body, to taking into account the direction of damage, peeling paint, dirt deposition and wheel abrasions.
Below you can check the material comparing the shots from the Maple Valley track, where during the races we can expect changing weather conditions that affect the grip of the wheels. In the gallery, however, there are new photos presenting individual machines in all their glory.
