Forza Horizon 5 has achieved great success, so Playground Games is not going to take a break. The main branch of the British studio started looking for additional specialists who will help develop the next production from the AAA segment.
Forza Horizon 5 scored 91-92% and it was without a doubt one of the best games of the last year. The races were appreciated by critics and players, so we could be sure that Microsoft would not send the team to develop a different IP.
On Friday, Playground Games announced new job offers and developers need a “level designer” to join the “FH team”. The developer will definitely not be developing the current positions anymore, as the job advertisement said “another AAA title” from an experienced studio.
Playground Games is also looking for employees for Fable, but we must remember that Microsoft has invested heavily in the team that opened the second branch – it is the younger group that is working on bringing the iconic brand back to life.
Forza Horizon 6 seems to be a sure thing, but it’s good to know that the developers are not taking a break and are not focusing solely on Fable, for example, and recruitment for the next races is already underway.
It is worth remembering that a few years ago the games from the Forza series were systematically debuted:
- Forza Motorsport (2005)
- Forza Motorsport 2 (2007)
- Forza Motorsport 3 (2009)
- Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
- Forza Horizon (2012)
- Forza Motorsport 5 (2013)
- Forza Horizon 2 (2014)
- Forza Motorsport 6 (2015)
- Forza Horizon 3 (2016)
- Forza Motorsport 7 (2017)
- Forza Horizon 4 (2018)
- Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
