A new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI , revealed during The Game Awards 2022 , has confirmed a June release date for the PlayStation 5, but it will take longer to release on other platforms.
The project was announced in 2020 by PC footage and was originally announced as a temporary PlayStation 5 console exclusive . Since then, Square Enix hasn’t said anything about a PC version, and the status of the project has changed. A footnote was added at the end of the latest video, announcing that Final Fantasy 16 is now a full-fledged PlayStation 5 exclusive that will not be available on other platforms until December 31, 2023.

This means Final Fantasy XVI will not be released on PC until at least early 2024 .
PS5 owners, in turn, will be able to evaluate the new jRPG starting June 22 next year.
