Far Cry 6 players need to download a sizable update that not only provides a number of fixes but also removes new content. Ubisoft admitted that it accidentally published an add-on that is expected to reach audiences at a later date.
Far Cry 6 made its debut early last month with a pretty decent reception . Currently, Ubisoft is working on improving and expanding the position, but it has also confirmed a very unusual error – a DLC was released by accident, work on which has not been completed. The expansion offering a mission with famous actor Danny Trejo is being removed from players’ consoles.
It didn’t take long, and the developers released a patch that included new daily and weekly challenges, the frequency of weapon respawn rates were adjusted, performance fixes were added, and a new special operation was prepared – available only from November 9. The studio has also developed a number of improvements that positively affect the gameplay and got rid of other bugs.
Patch sizes (based on development environment):
PlayStation 4: Between 19 GB – 27 GB depending on region
PlayStation 5: Between 20 GB – 25 GB
Xbox One: Between 13 GB and 19 GB
Xbox Series X/S: Between 14 GB and 20 GB
PC: ~22 GB
Ubisoft also confirmed that a PC file will also be made available in the future.
