FromSoftware games have long moved out of the niche production area and now receive the biggest industry awards, attracting the attention of millions of players from around the world. The Dark Souls fan community is not idle and is already creating visions of what the continuation of the series may look like.
The Teaser Play team, responsible for great concept trailers made using Unreal Engine 5 tools, this time took the subject of the Dark Souls series to the workshop. Fans have prepared a vision of what Dark Souls 4 might look like from the Japanese studio FromSoftware. As usual in the case of TeaserPlay videos, the work impresses with its scale and graphic level. It is worth remembering, however, that this is only a fan project that will never be released – even in the form of a tech demo.
“Dark Souls 4 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games by fans. At the moment, we are not yet sure whether such a project will be created – but we can already imagine what the production could look like. We used Quixel Materials, Lumen, Nanite, and Unreal Engine 5 to do this. We hope our video is a good representation of what fans expect from developers,” the TeaserPlay group wrote.
TeaserPlay are the authors of many amazing presentations in Unreal Engine 5. The fan team presented this year, among others: impressive conceptual vision of The Witcher 4 or what a Red Dead Redemption remake could look like . There was also a topic awaited by millions of Grand Theft Auto 6 fans.
