Fallout: New Vegas gets some lost content from the original at the time of its release, thanks to a mod that reintroduces it to the game.
A new Fallout: New Vegas mod aims to reintroduce content that was cut from the original version to the game, apparently due to technical issues that have emerged with the contemporary console releases on PS3 and Xbox 360.
These are mainly details and technical elements, which for optimization reasons were also removed from the PC edition where they were originally intended, mainly due to the problems that these caused to the console versions released at the time of launch, at least according to reports.
With the Improved New Vegas mod , these details should return to their place, adding a little bit to the look of the original world of Fallout: New Vegas.
For example, some artificial intelligence routines are reintroduced that are absent in the standard version: with the mod, characters can be seen moving more frequently, visiting various places and performing different actions.
More characters are also introduced on the screen and a greater amount of creatures to enrich the Mojave Wasteland that is the setting for the game. It is still a work in progress, therefore it is not the definitive version, but already this edition of the mod manages to return a more lively and dynamic image of Fallout: New Vegas.
You can find the mod on Nexus Mods at this address , to evaluate the differences compared to the standard version of the game. For the rest, Fallout: New Vegas remains one of the most loved RPGs by the videogame audience, so much so that we often see reworkings such as the recent “remake” in Unreal Engine 5 .
