Fallout 76 design director Mark Tucker reveals during a new interview that the multiplayer RPG will continue to receive content updates for the next five years.
Bethesda Softworks shared the roadmap for Fallout 76 at the end of last February , which includes the new additions that will be added to the multiplayer RPG during this 2022. How long does the studio intend to expand the Fallout 76 experience ? Apparently, the content that will arrive during this year is just the tip of the iceberg, since Bethesda has an internal roadmap to continue adding new content for the next five years . This has been revealed by Mark Tucker, design director, in an interview granted exclusively to AusGamers.
Fallout 76 will continue to expand its content
“The funny thing is if I could share what’s on this other monitor right here, you would love to see it because it’s a five-year roadmap that I’m working on. We have long term plans, and things get a little fuzzier the further we go out because we adjust and adapt as things show up and we see what players want and what they’re doing,” Tucker said during the interview when discussing the 2022 roadmap. “But, a lot of my time right now is spent on planning that three and five-year roadmap. The three-year roadmap is a lot more understood and known, at five-years it gets a little more fuzzy, but we’re dedicated to updating [Fallout 76], “he added to his previous statements.
“The message to our players is, there should be no reason to think that we’re not going to continue updating this game. We have things that we’re doing to ensure that we can continue producing updates for the game for a long period of time. We’ve got a lot of fun, cool stuff that I can’t wait to tell people about. Stuff that’s beyond this year.” This is certainly great news for gamers who intend to keep playing Fallout 76 for years to come, as well as proof that the Bethesda team has taken the community’s criticism of the title’s disastrous launch seriously. and its commitment to improve its image.
