Many items from the first story DLC were discovered in Dying Light 2’s files. It will allow you to take part in gladiatorial skirmishes.
Techland is to provide the first, big expansion for Dying Light 2 in 2022 and it is very possible that some of the files were added to the game with the last patch. At least that’s what the player who came across interesting data on “opera” claims.
In the files of the latest update to Dying Light, a new location, unfinished dialogues and even animated boards showing the expansion scenarios appeared – all these secrets were discovered by youtuber with the nickname Bub.
Techland can prepare a large expansion related to the arena for battles, because the files contain new NPCs and all of them have a gladiators theme, and the dialogues and boards found suggest that duels in the arena will be the main topic of the expansion.
On his material, Bub showed an arena that looks like an opera building, but some of the elements have not yet been prepared – Techland is working on a large location with several floors and a prison in the basement.
There are also mentions of new places in the files (Astrid office, church and metro station), but currently no specific visual materials presenting the areas have been found. The extension may even contain two different endings – this is suggested by the dialogues found.
